We work with a licensed psychiatric physician to prescribe medications if mental health diagnoses present themselves. Through our partnership with Samaritan Counseling Sevices of Sarasota,  our women receive an hour a week one on one counseling with a master's level Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) specialized in trauma.

Recreation

There are also many fully staff- supervised social activities; beach trips, bible studies, fun festivals, encounter weekends and outside groups that the ladies attend both during the week on evenings and on weekends. We believe in a holistic program of wellness that includes classes in music, art therapy, personal fitness, sewing, crafting and more.

Job Connection

Our residents, after completing at least 90 days of recovery time in our program, can start looking for employment. We have a specific partnership with Goodwill Industries Job Connections Program and links with many other businesses throughout Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Job Connection also helps our women attain GEDs and further education & training.
